Gus-Gus & Cinderella
The perfect match! For Cinderella "Cindy", it was love at first sight. And Gus immediately took interest in the cute and dainty little Cinderella. They formed a bond, like many Dachshunds do as they are highly sociable and most engaging of all the dog breeds. And are always better in two's and three's ;)

Both parents are originally from Canada. Gus relocated to Bermuda in 2022, and Cinderella in 2023. They both enjoy the lifestyle that Bermuda has to offer with days of sun-tanning on the veranda, and long walks on the beach and the Railway Trail.
Always together, cuddling or playing tag. Like two peas in a pod!
Gus-Gus as a Pup
Born on July 7th, 2021.
A rare Dapple with his Chocolate and Silver coat. Gus's eyes were a deep blue, that soon changed to green.
As an adult - his eyes have matured into a beautiful light-brown.
He just kept growing...
Gus came from a litter of 3. His Mom is a Dabble (8.5 lbs) and his Dad, Chocolate & Tan (9 lbs). Gus's brothers are small in size - both Chocolate & Tan. Gus just kept growing. Gus's brothers now at full adult weight are 8 lbs and 9 lbs and reside in Canada. Gus is a bit more than a teenie weenie clocking in at 16 lbs of pure Doxie muscle! Gus' build is strong and athletic.
Gus at 6-months
Gus as a growing Dapple always had something to say. He is quite vocal when he wants something. And he will tell you exactly what it is he wants, too!
Some may say he is "bossy", but, we prefer to say he is just a man who knows what he wants in life!
Gus at 1-Year
Not a day goes by that Gus isn't getting into mischief.
He is active, fun-loving, affectionate, loves his food and of course an abundance of treats. Most of all, Gus loves a good nap, especially if he can cuddle up with Cindy, or his human Mommy.
Gus Gone-Fish'n and Fully Grown
Dachshunds are known to "hate" getting wet, and with their thick paws, most aren't keen on swimming, but Gus is always up for a fishing trip on the water in Somerset.
Cinderella as a Pup
Born March 1st, 2022.
Cindy's pre-baby weight averages at 11.5 lbs. Her stature is dainty, sleek and petite. Cindy's parents are Black & Tan, and Solid Sabble. Both parents weighing between 9lbs - 11lbs. Cinderella was from a litter of two girls.

A Healthy Pup
For some reason, as a puppy Cinderella took a liking to fresh carrots. Which was great through her "teething' stages. She enjoys homemade treats nowadays, especially ones made with pumpkin, or peanut butter.
A Travelling Pup
She travels well and does great in her little carrier bag. No fuss no issues, just get her to where she wants to go. Cindy is quite vocal at home, but when it is time to travel she is on her best behaviour.
A Lady on the Go
Cinderella loves car rides. Especially when we detour to grab a pup-a-chino on the way. Not often to never, do our Dachshunds receive "people food", but in this case, our Dam deserves a treat!
Working from Home
Cinderella like any Dachshund we've met - are extremely social, love to be around other Dachshunds and of course, close to their owners. Especially when human Mommy is trying to get some work done!
Poses for the Camera
Dachshund's are particularly comical with some of the ways they sit, lay, and sleep. This is Cinderellas most infamous pose. We call this "praying hands" - it looks like she's put her little paws together to say a prayer.
Always Together
Cindy and Gus don't do much without being close by to one another.
Never a Dull Moment
They do more than just sleep, we promise!

Meet Cinderella's Parents.
With the black coat on the Grandpa-Sire, we believe this is where the genetics took play with our Black and Silver Dapple puppy from our current litter.

Gus-Gus's Mom is a very similar Dapple coat to Gus'. Her ears aren't as floppy and fluffy as Gus-Gus, and he outweighs her by nearly double!
The Grandpa

That's him the background, the sleek and shiny Smooth-hair Chocolate & Tan Dachshund. That's Gus-Gus' Dad! Who steals the show though, is Gus' little brother "Curly". All of Gus-Gus' immediate family (Mom, Dad, brothers from the same litter) live across Canada.

The Parents and Grandparents of our March 5th, 2024 litter are homegrown family animals, and raised in the care of experienced Dachshund owners and breeders. Our Dachshunds are situated in well-socialized homes with adults, children and other animals such as cats, rabbits, and of course other dogs (mainly other Dachshunds).
Gus-Gus and Cinderella are well-tempered, lively, gentle, and affectionate. The most common and well-known Dachshund trait is that the breed can be extremely "stubborn". Gus-Gus lives up to that standard. Cindy is a little more easy-going.

We take pride in how we raise and care for our beloved Dachshund family. We are gentle, careful, calm, yet highly-active and busy households where the animals build healthy temperaments and bold personalities.
