Meet the Parents:
Honey & Gus-Gus
Honey, a small and dainty little lady, Cream Coloured Long-Hair Dachshund from Calgary, Alberta was specially chosen to be paired with Gus-Gus our Long-Hair Chocolate and Cream male, also from Canada.

Honey, is a 'true mini' weighing in at 6.5 lbs - 7 lbs, she quite petite, her personality is calm and quiet...something that we are not used to around here with our rambunctious Dachshund family!

Honey loves to be around Gus, she runs and jumps and plays and Gus follows her everywhere she goes, keeping up close behind her! She is small, but boy can she run and jump and leap!

They are truly the most adorable couple!

Gus-Gus as a Pup
Born on July 7th, 2021.
A rare Dapple with his Chocolate and Silver coat. Gus's eyes were a deep blue, that soon changed to green.
As an adult - his eyes have matured into a beautiful light-brown.

He just kept growing...
Gus came from a litter of 3. His Mom is a Dabble (8.5 lbs) and his Dad, Chocolate & Tan (9 lbs). Gus's brothers are small in size - both Chocolate & Tan. Gus just kept growing. Gus's brothers now at full adult weight are 8 lbs and 9 lbs and reside in Canada. Gus is a bit more than a teenie weenie clocking in at 16 lbs of pure Doxie muscle! Gus' build is strong and athletic.

Gus at 6-months
Gus as a growing Dapple always had something to say. He is quite vocal when he wants something. And he will tell you exactly what it is he wants, too!
Some may say he is "bossy", but, we prefer to say he is just a man who knows what he wants in life!

Gus at 1-Year
Not a day goes by that Gus isn't getting into mischief.
He is active, fun-loving, affectionate, loves his food and of course an abundance of treats. Most of all, Gus loves a good nap, especially if he can cuddle up with Cindy, or his human Mommy.

Gus Gone-Fish'n and Fully Grown
Dachshunds are known to "hate" getting wet, and with their thick paws, most aren't keen on swimming, but Gus is always up for a fishing trip on the water in Somerset.

Honey as a puppy
Born June 17th, 2024
in Calgary, Alberta, a litter of 5, 3 boys and 2 girls, Honey had a pink nose when her brothers and sister had black noses.
This unique trait caught the eye of our family and we picked Honey to join us in Ontario, Canada until she was able to fly to Bermuda to be with the Teenie Weenie Team!

Unique and rare
Honey is a 'Cream' Dachshund, and depending on the lighting or camera angle, she often looks white, or the lightest shade of blond. Beautiful!

Honey, the toy collector
Such a big personality for such a little dog! Honey would often 'borrow' toys from her standard size Labradoodle friend 'Lokie', who is about 10 x's Honey's size!

A lady always looking for a comfy spot
Honey finds anywhere soft and/or cuddly to make her own.

Bad to the bone!
Honey often goes for rides with her Dad on his gear bike around Bermuda. Don't worry - safety first - Honey has a matching pink helmet to go with the goggles.

Road Tripp'n
Planes, trains, and automobiles. Honey is well-travelled and loves to go on road-trip adventures! Here she is waiting for her ride to go to the Toronto airport, headed to Bermuda!

So well-behaved
Cream's are known for their quiet, docile nature. Honey is calm, quiet and very well-mannered. How could you not spot this cuteness from a mile away?!

The queen of the castle
Anywhere that is soft and fluffy - Honey finds her spot and claims it has hers, like the queen of the castle on the back of Grandma's couch.

A real cool cat
Honey gets along with everyone! Even cats, especially ones of the same shade.

Big or small, she'll hang with them all.
Honey pays no mind to her size. She hangs out and snuggles up to the big dogs! Even ones 10 x's her size!

She just loves being cozy!

Look out Bermuda, we may have an Olympic swimmer on our hands!
Dachshunds are not 'water dogs', but don't put that past Honey! She will swim and swim and swim some more!

Always together!
It's treat time and both Gus and Honey are paying full attention! Who gets the next snack? Whoever looks the cutest, of course!

Beach bums!

Ever hear about the Dachshund 'side-eye'
Here is Honey modelling the notorious Dachshund 'side-eye'. Enjoy! It's a real thing!
The Family Tree
The history stated above that is linked to these Dachshund bloodlines as shown in our Family Tree are true and accurate.
The Parents and Grandparents of our Dams and Sires litters are homegrown family animals, and raised in the care of experienced Dachshund owners and breeders. Our Dachshunds are situated in well-socialized homes with adults, children and other animals such as cats, rabbits, and of course other dogs (mainly other Dachshunds).
Our family of Dachshunds are well-tempered, lively, gentle, and affectionate. The most common and well-known Dachshund trait is that the breed can be extremely "stubborn". We can confirm, that all of our doggo's live up to that stereotype.

We take pride in how we raise and care for our beloved Dachshund family. We are gentle, careful, calm, yet highly-active and busy households where the animals build healthy temperaments and bold personalities.
